Support - Warranty Information
ONE YEAR LIMITED PARTS AND ONE YEAR LABOR WARRANTY FOR DESKTOPS. ONE YEAR PARTS AND LABOR FOR NOTEBOOKS GameRigs fully assembled desktop computer systems are covered by one (1) year labor, limited 1 (1) year parts, and lifetime tech-support warranties. GameRigs fully assembled notebook computer systems are covered by one (1) year labor, limited one (1) year parts, and lifetime tech-support warranties. CDRW and DVDRW optical drives are warranted for one (1) year only, unless otherwise specified. All items supplied by GameRigs that were not part of the original default system configuration are covered ONLY by the warranty offered by the manufacturer of the individual part. All warranty periods begin on the date of shipment unless otherwise specified. All aforementioned warranties, with the exception of those supplied by individual parts manufacturers, are considered void upon the modification of system components without the prior consent of GameRigs. All of the aforementioned warranties do not cover items that have been physically damaged by the end-user. 30-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE GameRigs fully assembled computer systems are backed by a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. All original boxes and CD/Diskettes must be in their original shipping condition if the system or parts in question are to be returned for the original purchasing price. The end-user is responsible for any shipping costs that are incurred as a result of the Money Back Guarantee. All monitors and all items supplied by GameRigs that were not part of the original advertised system configuration are excluded from the 30-day money-back guarantee. Any open, activated, or registered software, including but not limited to Operating System and productivity suites, is not refundable. RETURN POLICY An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number is required for any product that is to be returned to GameRigs. RMA numbers are valid for only ten (10) calendar days from the date of issuance. Any products returned to GameRigs without an RMA number, or with an RMA number issued more than ten (10) days prior, will be refused. The decreased value of the returned components will be assessed and deducted from the original credit amount upon there arrival at GameRigs facilities. The original shipping and handling charge is non-refundable. No refunds will be allowed after the provisional period of thirty (30) days from the date on the invoice. Return boxes with COD (Cash on Delivery) will be refused. Return Instructions Email our service department (support@game-rigs.com) for an RMA number. Please include the following information:
REPAIR & REPLACEMENT GameRigs will repair, replace, or exchange comparable parts at our discretion. Any product that needs to be repaired, replaced, or exchanged should be sent to GameRigs at the expense of the customer. GameRigs will then ship the repaired or replaced part to the customer. Cross-shipping is available to all customers, provided they allow GameRigs to charge the full cost of shipping to their account. GameRigs will refund the charged amount for the cross-ship after receiving the returned product. In accordance with its thirty (30) day return policy, GameRigs will only cross-ship those products that have been requested for repair, replacement, or exchange within thirty (30) days of the original invoice date. In order for the customer to receive a full refund on parts and/or shipping, GameRigs must have received the products in question within ten (10) days of the customer’s receipt of the repaired, replaced, or exchanged goods. All monitors and all items supplied by GameRigs that were not part of the original advertised system configuration are covered ONLY by the warranty offered by the manufacturer of the individual part. Customers will need to contact these manufacturers individually. GameRigs is not responsible for any costs incurred due to shipping or defects with such items. SHIPPING DAMAGE AND DISCREPANCY If there is a discrepancy between items received and items ordered from GameRigs, including missing or incorrect items, the customer is responsible for contacting our service department (sales@game-rigs.com) within seven (7) calendar days of receiving the item(s) in question. Should damage occur during shipping, the customer is responsible for notifying the carrier and requesting a DAMAGE REPORT for the damaged item(s). |
